Gay Orlando: Keep Fit with Orlando Front Runners LGBT Walking & Running Organization

Running and walking are great ways to keep fit and here in Orlando there are plenty of people who compete in races like the popular 5k’s and marathons at Walt Disney World.

However there are other smaller events like those at Lake Eola in Downtown Orlando. For the LGBT community in Orlando there is even a fantastic community group called “Orlando Front Runners” who are a LGBT Walking and Running organization focusing on healthy living and keeping fit in Orlando.

This fun group of people meet up at the Red Japanese Pagoda at the north east corner of Lake Eola in Downtown Orlando on Mondays at 6:30pm, Wednesdays at 7:30pm and Saturdays at 8:30am – perfect for those who love an evening run or a morning run! The meet up breaks out into different groups of runners who will run either 3 mile, 4 mile, 5 miles or 6 mile circuits at their own speed. So whether you are a walker or a sprinter you can find people who run at your speed!

After running the group circles back and talks and sometimes goes for a bite to eat. This is a great group to keep fit and active as well as meet some like minded LGBT people.

If you are into running why not check out Orlando’s Front Runners?
