Gay Orlando: Marriage Equality Rally Coming to Lake Eola, Orlando, FL

Being such a Gay friendly city, Orlando naturally can be at the forefront of political issues when it comes to Gay Rights.

In fact, this June there is going to be a Marriage Equality Rally downtown at Lake Eola. Come on out and celebrate with The Center, Come Out With Pride, HRC, ACLU, MBA Orlando, Watermark and so many more Orlando/Central Florida LGBT organizations.

In addition to gay rights/activist organizations there program is filling up with speakers from the political world too with Federal, State, and Local Government representatives slated to join in as well as entertainers, celebrities and even local clergy! The Center Orlando’s volunteer staff will be assembling and placing red luminaries around Lake Eola to symbolically “Paint The Town” red in support of marriage equality and the historic times that we are living in for the Gay community. There will also be a DJ and some food trucks too!

This is a chance for Gay Orlando to come out and show how great a community it is, rally for marriage equality and have fun! Better yet, the event is free! So come on own and support your community on June 27th 2013! Here is a map showing how to get to Lake Eola:
