Who doesn’t love a bit of Cabaret!?
Orlando has such a vibrant theater scene that as you would expect there is a great Orlando Cabaret Festival that gets well under way in May of 2012. This popular annual event is well attended and mainly focuses around the Mad Cow Theatre in Downtown Orlando. This year the festival is excited to be in it’s 10th year!
So what is on the cards this year? Well we have the following Cabarets at the Mad Cow:
1. It Was A Very Good Year: 1962 – Through Broadway, Music and Popular Culture the audience is transported back to the golden age that was the early 1960’s.
May 4th to May 13th.
2. A Gay Night for Singing – This is Mad Cow’s newest cabaret that embraces gay culture from some of the most exciting shows ever to grace Broadway.
May 4th to Saturday May 12th.
3. An Animated Night of Cabaret – An exciting colorful journey through some of the best songs from animated musicals. Enjoy classics such as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs through to Shrek and beyond!
May 3rd to May 13th.
4. “And the Tony Goes to…” – This is an exciting night of cabaret revisiting the best of legendary musicals in the spirit of the Tony’s.
May 3rd through to May 13th.
